Our virtual training environments range of classic desktop trainers to leading-edge immersive trainers offers all levels of human-machine interfacing in a real-time environment. The combination of various technologies tailor-made to the application ensures effective knowledge transfer and extremely high success rates.

Training Needs Analysis:
Inhouse and consultant subject matter experts in these industries are used to perform ‘Training Needs Analysis’ prior to designing courses, content and training systems. TMI develops with the client involvement an appropriate training strategy to fast track the transfer of skills and knowledge.

TMI Dynamatics has a strong foundation in utilizing the TNA for the development of specialized training courses, effective training material and understandable concise technical manuals and publications.

Desktop Trainers:
TMI Dynamatics offers a wide range of desktop interactive training systems. We have the expertise, tools and experience to develop simulation based training programmes that allow for users to work independently, in a classroom, or remotely via the Internet. These systems are low cost PC based systems that enable the users to interact with the material in an interactive manner while transferring knowledge and accessing their skills simultaneously. These systems are specifically tailored for operator, crew, technician or maintenance training required.

Immersive Simulators:
TMI Dynamatics has been involved over the years as a subcontractor to develop and integrate immersive simulators for operator and crew training in the aerospace, defence and automotive industries.

The organization has extensive experience in developing computational models of the vehicle’s complete power generation system and its dynamic behaviour resulting from the forces and moments being applied to the vehicle. The visual display systems comprise of a PC based image generation and commercial of the shelf based projection systems. Vestibular sensory is provided using motion control devices to stimulate the trainee during operation of the simulator. TMI Dynamatics has developed a four degree of freedom motion platform for a ground vehicle providing the following excursions:
Surge: ± 200mm
Pitch: ± 10º
Roll: ± 10º
Yaw: ± 5º
The velocities and accelerations experienced by the driver will be tuned to accurately represent the motion of the cab. TMI Dynamatics also has low cost instructor operating station to monitor and control the training. A “man in the loop” instructor will monitor and control the simulation environment during a predefined training session to assess a broad spectrum of operator’s skills. The IOS will provide the instructor with the following functionality:
